The 30th Annual Meet the Artist Fashion Show
February 10 @ 6:00 pm
Meet The Artist Fashion Show February 10, 2018
I am happy to announce that I am the coordinator for the fashion show next year and I plan on making it go down in history. It’s the 30 year anniversary of the event.
This show will be split up into 4 scenes instead of individual designer showcases to give our entire community the opportunity to come together for a epic union of greatness.
I’m inviting about 15 designers and asking each designer to showcase a minimal 5 and a max of 16. Each designer can showcase up to 4 garments per scene. It is not a requirement to be in all scenes, but I think it would be very exciting to see everybody’s individual take on style for each scene.
The show will be very similar to A Ebony Fashion Fair production
There will be commentary for each garment to guarantee that you get proper credits.
I will have some of Indys top stylists doing & make up.
The social media production of the event will consist of individual interviews, group interviews, periodic “MAKING OF” videos monthly up until the event, and links to previous shows you’ve done.
I will great a Facebook group so that everybody can meet & greet and that also guarantees that everybody gets the same info. If your not on Facebook I can forward memorandum to you.
If you do not want to participate in the social media marketing, you are not require to accept free global exposure for your BRAND!
There will be a easy to find online program with everybody bio & contact info involved in the production if you do not have a press release format headshot and a promo of at least one design, I will make it happen.
I’m asking everybody to be realistic about what they can take on and still enjoy doing it. I want everybody to have fun and not feel stressed, so do what works best for you.
For those of you who are new to me, trust and believe that this is gonna be one of favorites show! I am a former model, MUA, hairstylist, and award winning designer, therefore I speak everybody’s language. My artistry in all arenas of hair and fashion has been published internationally which will also open the doors for you to expend base globally. I have also coordinated Meet The Artist Fashion Show several times in the pass and understand the demand for a well executed flow for the production.
There will not be any children and/or Urban T-shirt brands in this show.
