Best of 2018: Who’s The Best Black Media in Indianapolis?

Best of 2018: Who’s The Best Black Media in Indianapolis?

Welcome back to our first annual Black Indy Award Series for 2018. We are recognizing the Brightest & Blackest from all areas of culture in the city of Indianapolis. In case you missed our first group of nominees in our Best Rapper in Indianapolis Category, make sure you check it out and leave your vote!

We follow that up with one of the most important areas of Black Culture in the city — the realm of Black Media. Our list of nominees help the community stay informed and control our own narrative, which combats against the normally negative images and stories of Black People that are portrayed in the media. We salute ALL of our nominees for stepping up to fight for our equal and fair representation in the hugely important area of Media & News!

How it works.

Votes will be determined as a combination of two categories: The Fan Vote (Make sure you vote for #1 at the bottom of this page) and Our Weighted Panel Vote. Our handpicked judges panel will vote based off the nominees Fan Vote total and several other categories. At the end of the two week voting period, each side of votes will be weighted 50/50 in order to decide who wins Indianapolis’s Best Black Media of 2018
